Show jumping is our speciality at Grovely. With our Charles Briton
Arenas and attractive sets of showjumps we offer lessons for tiny
tots, adults learning to jump, right through to the senior
showjumper who can ride their own horse or pony. The Grovely team
can help you fulfil your dreams in the world of showjumping! Danny's
128 ponies from Greenbarrow Gossamer and Grovely's Marmite are still
successful today and he was lucky enough to be selected to ride for
the England team when they competed in Ireland were he won a bronze
medal with the 128 Team. Foxlynch Buckeroo took Danny through the
138 ranks again jumping in Cavan for the England Team. George Edwins
allowed Danny to compete many of his ponies including Foxlynch with
a Splash who introduced him to the big 148 classes.
More novice ponies were produced and Danny enjoyed lots of success
with Slam Dunkin' , Never Say Die and Party Carnage, but his best
partner of all time was the fantastic international pony Quayside
Caution who took Danny all over England, Scotland, Ireland and to Le
Touquet in France. Danny is currently training with Andy Austin who
has supported him with his lovely Wylye Cruise and he also has a
string of very promising novices, including three 4 year olds and
two 5 year olds.
Wylye Cruise was a credible 2nd at Horse of the Year Show and Danny
is currently in Holland training with Rolef Brill.
