Many riding schools run after school clubs which involve a riding lesson ( £23 ) with a stable management session. Here AT Grovely, Sam and Pen will offer this project on a Wednesday afternoon starting at 4.00 until 6.00. Each student will sign up for the term. The after school club will be involved in the introduction of the B.H.S. Junior Progressive Tests.
The stable management sessions will cover all aspects of pony care including grooming, feeding and handling, with the use of videos, lectures, demonstrations and practical advice. The starting date for the After School Club 2009 will be Wednesday April 22nd. Each student, on achieving success at the appropriate test will receive a B.H.S. certificate and a Grovely rosette. A particular pony can be booked for all six weeks, or a variety of ponies can be used depending on the students wishes.
